Getting Started
Q: Do I need crypto to play?
A: Nope. You can play entirely for free without connecting a wallet.
But if you want to claim rewards or enter paid tournaments, you'll need:
A wallet (Core, MetaMask, WalletConnect)
Some AVAX for gas fees (~$1 is plenty)
Q: Is there a mobile app?
A: Not yet, but the web version works great on mobile browsers and telegram app.
For now: Just visit ratelgrid.io on your phone.
Q: How long does a game take?
A: About 12 minutes:
10 rounds × 60 seconds = 10 minutes
+2 minutes for queuing/results
You can realistically play 4-5 games per hour.
Q: Can I play from [my country]?
A: Probably yes, but check our [geo-restrictions page].
Restricted regions:
Locations where online gaming is illegal
Sanctioned countries (we have to comply)
Everyone else: You're good to go.
💰 Money & Rewards
Q: Can I actually make money from this?
A: Yes, if you're good.
Realistic earnings (per week):
Regular player: $200-$500
Pro player: $1,000-$3,000+
But like poker, top players earn way more than average players.
Q: How do I withdraw my earnings?
A:
Option 1: Keep in account, use for power-ups/tournaments Option 2: Claim to wallet:
Tokens sent to your wallet
No minimum withdrawal (besides 100 $RATEL batching recommendation).
Q: Are there fees?
Fees we charge:
Tournament entries: 10% platform fee
NFT marketplace: 5% royalty
Power-up purchases: None (just $RATEL cost)
Fees you pay:
Avalanche gas: ~$0.01-$0.10 per transaction
Claiming prizes: Gas only
No hidden fees. Ever.
Q: Is this gambling?
A: We consider it a skill-based game, not gambling.
Why:
Top players consistently win (not random)
Pattern recognition and analysis matter
You can play for free with no stakes
But: Check your local laws. Some jurisdictions may classify it differently.
Q: Do the tokens ever actually exist?
A: No. They're 100% simulated for the game.
We're not creating real tokens on Avalanche. That would be insane (and illegal).
Think of it like: Monopoly money. The game is real, the tokens aren't.
Q: Can I bot the game?
A: Don't even try.
We have:
Behavioral analysis (mouse patterns)
Manual review of top earners
Consequences:
Forfeiture of all rewards
Possible legal action for severe cases
Just play fair. It's more fun anyway.
Q: What if I disconnect mid-game?
A: You still get participation rewards (base 50 + rounds completed).
We don't penalize disconnects. Internet hiccups happen.
But: Repeated disconnects (>3 per 24Hours) trigger review for suspicious activity.
Q: Can I pause a game?
A: No. Games are live and competitive.
Exception: Practice Mode can be paused.
Q: How do tournament brackets work?
A:
Round 1: Everyone plays, top 50% advance Round 2: 50% → 25% advance Round 3: 25% → 12.5% advance Finals: Top players compete for prizes
You advance by ranking high in your heat.

Q: What if a tournament doesn't fill?
A: We still pay the full advertised prize pool.
Example:
Posted: $1,000 pool (needs 100 players)
Reality: Only 50 players enter
We add $500 to make it $1,000
Guaranteed. No exceptions.
Q: Can I enter multiple tournaments at once?
A: Yes, if the schedules don't overlap.
Example:
But you can't: Play two simultaneous tournaments.
Q: Which wallets are supported?
A:
Core Wallet (recommended for Avalanche)
WalletConnect (for mobile)

Q: Is my data safe?
A: Yes.
Security measures:
Encrypted connections (SSL)
No passwords stored (wallet-based auth)
We don't store:
Private keys (those are yours)
Q: Can I delete my account?
A: Yes, anytime.
What happens:
Unclaimed $RATEL forfeited
NFTs remain in your wallet (we can't delete those)
Leaderboard history anonymized
Process: Profile → Delete Account → Confirm
Q: Can I stream the game?
A: Absolutely! We encourage it.
Streamer perks:
Dedicated streaming mode (overlays, alerts)
Revenue share on referrals from your stream
Featured on our Twitch directory

A: Yes, we've consulted lawyers in multiple jurisdictions.
